destroyed or diminished and hence is Everlasting.

"Akshay Tritiya"
also known as
"Akha Teej"
is considered as one of the most auspicious day of the year.
This day falls in the month of Vaishakh on the 3rd day of Shukla Paksha
(waxing phase of Moon). This day is celebrated all over India and across
all sections of the society. This year Akshay Tritiya is on

Akshay Tritiya is considered very Auspicious
for purchasing valuables like Gold and Silver, fixed assets like Properties
etc or for starting any New Venture or Business. It is believed that any
purchases made on this day will continue to grow and any new venture started
on this day will continue to prosper.
People visit Holy places and Holy
Shrines on this day, take bath in the holy rivers and ponds and make
offerings to Lord Vishnu, Goddess Maha Lakshmi and Lord Krishna. People
also give donations to Brahmins and poor on this day.
It is believed that every moment of this
day is very Auspicious and there is no need for working out any Muhurat
(Auspicious Time) on this day since every minute of this day is a Muhurat in itself.
