Lord Dhanvantari is considered an Incarnation of Lord Vishnu who appeared holding a Pot of Amrit ( nector of immortality ) in his hands from the ocean during its churning by Gods and Demons. As per Ancient Vedic Texts, Lord Dhanvantri is considered as the beginner of practice of Ayurveda for providing Good Health, Strength, Energy and Longevity of all beings of universe including Gods and Demons.

Swasti Vachan, Shanti Path, Sankalp, Ganesh Sthapan, Kalash Sthapan, Lord Dhanvantari Sthapan, Navgrah Sthapan, Brahma Sthapan, Agni Sthapan, Invocation of all Gods & Goddesses, Navgrah Mantra Japa (1 mala for each planet), Recitation of Dhanvantari Maha Mantra for 1100 times, Recitation of Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra for 1100 times, Recitation of Dhanvantari Stotra, Recitation of Lord Vishnu mantra followed by Homam with Ghee, Sugar, Til, Oats ( Jow ), Ashtagandh, Sandalwood powder, Navgrah Samidha and then Purnahuti, Aarti and Prasad to Brahmins.
