Information about Dashavtara Pooja & Yagya
The word Dashavatar ( "Dash" means Ten and "Avatar" means Incarnation ) refers to the "Ten Incarnations of Lord Vishnu" who is referred to as one of the most powerful God of the Hindu Trinity, the other two Gods being Lord Brahma and Lord Shiva.

Lord Vishnu is considered as the preserver and protector of this Universe and as per Ancient Hindu Texts, there have been various Incarnations ( Avatars ) of Lord Vishnu for maintaining a balance between Dev and Danavas or the Good and the Evil whenever the balance have tilted towards Danavas that is the Evil forces thereby threatening the very existence of Universe. This fact has been told by Lord Vishnu in his Krishna Avatar which is mentioned in the Bhagwat Geeta in Chapter 4 verse 7 as follows :

"Whenever there is a threat to the Dharma (Righteous) and the powers of the Evil forces become pre-dominant, I will Incarnate on Earth to establish the Dharma once again."

10 Incarnations of Lord Vishnu
Nine Avatars of Lord Vishnu have already taken place and the 10th Avatar is supposed to take place at the end of the Kalyug. The avatars that have taken place are as follows :
  1. Matsya Avatar : In this Avatar, Lord Vishnu has taken a form of a fish to save the World from deluge (Pralaya) by helping King Manu
  2. Kurma Avatar : In this Avatar, Lord Vishnu have incarnated in the form of a Kurma (Tortoise) to help the Deva and Danavas in churning the Ocean
  3. Varaha Avatar : When Demon Hiranyaksha had taken the Earth to the bottom of the Ocean, Lord Vishnu incarnated in the form of a boar and rescued the Earth from him
  4. Narasimha Avatar : In this Avatar, Lord Vishnu took the form of Half man and half Lion to kill the Demon Hiranyakashyapu who was bent upon spreading Terror and Destruction on the Earth for taking revenge for his brother Hiranyaksha
  5. Vamana Avatar : When King Bali threatened to take control of all the 3 worlds, Lord Vishnu took an Incarnation in the form of a dwarf Brahmin to eliminate this threat
  6. Parshuram Avatar : This Fierce Avatar of Lord Vishnu acted as a warrior (kshatriya) and he killed all the Kshatriyas on Earth 21 times to take revenge for his Father Jamadagni who was killed by the Sons of King Kartavirya
  7. Rama Avatar : This Avatar of Lord Vishnu in a human form is one of the most worshipped Avatar on Earth. Lord Vishnu incarnated in a human form as son of King Dasarath of Ayodhya to destroy the Demon Ravana
  8. Krishna Avatar : This Avatar of Lord Vishnu is also widely worshipped all across the globe and it was taken to destroy the Demon Kans and established the power of Dharma on this Earth
  9. Buddha Avatar : Gautam Buddha who is the founder of Buddhism is supposed to be the 9th Avatar of Lord Vishnu with a basic purpose of propagating Ahinsa (Non-violence) to all his followers for the sake of achieving Moksha
  10. Kalki Avatar : This avatar of Lord Vishnu is yet to take place at the end of this present Yug which is known as Kalyug. The purpose of this avatar is supposed to save the living beings from their sorrows and miseries

1. Donate the Prasadam : In this option, the Puja Prasadam will be Donated to a Brahmin at our end here itself. You can virtually see the Prasadam in the Video and offer your prayers to it. The Shipping Charges will Not be applied for this Puja.

  • No hassles of duty / taxes being levied at the recipient's end.
  • If you opt for not receiving the prasadam, we will provide you a video recording of around 15-20 minutes instead of regular 12-13 minutes video without any extra charges to you. This video will have images of each item of Prasadam so that you can pray in front of them which will ensure that you get the same benefits that you would have got by physically receiving the prasadam.
  • Thereafter, the prasadam will be given to the brahmin who have taken sankalp on your part so that the prasadam is virtually delivered to you. He will then take care of each and every item of the prasadam in a ritualistic way as mentioned in Vedic Texts, so that in fact you will get even better results of the puja as compared to prasadam being physically delivered to you wherein at times you cannot take proper care of it.
