Goddess Durga is also known as "Shakti" means she is the Energy behind everything in this universe. Goddess Maha Durga is the bestower of Courage, Strength, Protection and Victory over Enemies. Worshipping Goddess Maha Durga not only protects the worshipper from all kind of Adversaries, Evil forces, Evil Energies but he is also blessed with unparalleled courage to counter and destroy his enemies. The divine energy of Goddess Durga strengthens the body, mind as well as the soul of worshipper thereby bringing Positivity in his life. Nav Durga Puja is also very helpful in removing all kinds of hurdles and obstacles from a person's life thereby paving a path to Peace, Prosperity and Success.

The name Shakti has been given to Goddess Durga because she manifests herself in 9 different forms each having specific divine powers and appearance and the Goddess Durga incorporates in herself Combined Powers of all these different 9 incarnations.

A very special Festival known as Chaitra Navratri is celebrated all over India to pay reverence to each of these incarnations of Goddess Durga known as Shailputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skand Mata, Katyayani, Kaal Ratri, Maha Gauri and Siddhidatri. This festival of Chaitra Navratri spreads over 9 days and one each of these days is dedicated to one of the incarnations of Goddess Durga.

This Year, Chaitra Navratri Festival will be celebrated from Saturday, 6th April till Sunday, 14th April 2019.

9 Days of Chaitra Navratri
Rudraksha Center is pleased to bring a very Special Puja for its clients wherein prayers and Japas will be performed for each form of Goddess Durga on her specific day as follows :
  • 1st Day of Navratri - Installation of Durga Yantra & its Pujan, Japas will be recited for Goddess Shailputri followed by small Puja
  • 2nd Day of Navratri - Japas will be recited for Goddess Brahmacharini followed by small Puja
  • 3rd Day of Navratri - Japas will be recited for Goddess Chandraghanta followed by small Puja
  • 4th Day of Navratri - Japas will be recited for Goddess Kushmanda followed by small Puja
  • 5th Day of Navratri - Japas will be recited for Goddess Skand Mata followed by small Puja
  • 6th Day of Navratri - Japas will be recited for Goddess Katyayani followed by small Puja
  • 7th Day of Navratri - Japas will be recited for Goddess Kalratri followed by small Puja
  • 8th Day of Navratri - Japas will be recited for Goddess Maha Gauri followed by small Puja
  • 9th Day of Navratri - Japas will be recited for Goddess Siddhidatri followed by Puja, Big Homam with Ahuti for all the forms of Maa Durga
Puja Procedure
A big homam with Ahuti for all the forms will be performed on the 9th day as follows :

Swasti Vachan, Shanti Path, Sankalp, Ganesh Sthapan, Kalash Sthapan, Durga Sthapan, Brahma Sthapan, Agni Sthapan, Invocation of all Gods and Goddesses, Navgrah Sthapan, Navgrah Mantra Japa (1 mala for each planet), Punyaha Vachan Kalash, Sarvato Bhadra Pujan, Chhetrapal Mandal Pujan, Chatukashti Yogini Pujan, Dashansh Mantra Japa for each of the 9 incarnations of Goddess Durga, Homam with Honey, Ghee, Sugar, Til, Ashtagandh, Sandalwood Powder, Navgrah Samidha and then Purnahuti, Aarti and Prasad to Brahmins.
