Within the temple of my heart and the depths of my mind, I lovingly perform this sacred worship in my inner contemplation. O Lord Pashupati, I respectfully invite You to take Your divine seat upon a magnificent throne fashioned from precious gems. I bathe Your sacred form with the pure, refreshing waters of the Himalayas. After this holy ablution, I offer You heavenly garments embellished with priceless jewels. I lovingly anoint Your divine body with sandalwood paste blended with saffron and musk. I adorn You with a fragrant garland made of beautiful flowers such as jasmine, champa, and sacred bilva leaves. With devotion arising from my heart, I offer You the fragrance of incense and the brilliant flame of a sacred lamp, all through the power of my spiritual visualization. O Lord, please graciously accept these humble offerings of my devotion.
In my mind, I offer You a newly created golden vessel, exquisitely decorated with countless precious gems. Within this divine vessel, I present kheer (sweet rice pudding), milk, curd, five varieties of delicacies symbolizing the five tastes, ripe bananas, refreshing drinks, nourishing vegetables, pure water sanctified with the fragrance of camphor and prepared solely for Your service, along with betel leaves. O Bestower of Auspiciousness, I sincerely pray that You kindly accept these offerings, which arise from my deepest love and devotion.
O Lord, I hold a royal umbrella above You in reverence and gently wave the ceremonial yak-tail fan and hand fan before You. I offer You a flawless mirror, in which Your divine form is reflected in all its incomparable beauty and glory. I present the sacred sounds of the veena, bhairi, mridanga, dundubhi, and other divine instruments for Your delight. Through hymns of praise, devotional songs, sacred dances, and complete surrender through prostration, I dedicate my entire being to Your worship. O Supreme Lord, I humbly pray that You accept this complete and varied offering, filled with the love and devotion of my heart.
O Lord Shankara, You are my own true Self. My intellect is Your divine energy, Goddess Parvati. My life force is Your sacred assembly of attendants, the Ganas. This body, formed from the five great elements, is Your holy temple. Every experience received through my senses is an offering of worship unto You. My sleep is meditation upon Your divine presence. Every step I take is a sacred circumambulation around You. Every word spoken by my lips becomes a hymn and mantra in Your praise. Therefore, whatever actions I perform as Your devotee are, in truth, nothing but acts of worship offered unto You.
O Supreme Lord, whatever mistakes or offenses I have committed through my hands, feet, speech, body, actions, ears, eyes, or mind—whether knowingly or unknowingly, intentionally or unintentionally—please forgive them all through Your infinite compassion. O Ocean of Mercy, O Compassionate Bholenath, O Great Lord Mahadeva, all glory and victory are Yours alone. May victory forever belong to You.
